First Omega wristwatch men watch in outstanding conditions

Measure 35,77 mm without crown, and 44,70 mm lug to lug, this is a oversize case for that time, usually 29 mm , 31 mm and 33 mm was the common size in this type of early wrist watches, original wind crown at 9, left hand winding watch, early wristwatches ( 1900 to 1910 ) where used in the right hand, in the inner side of the wrist as you can see in the pictures of the advices from 1907.

This  is the first batch of the most  emblematic Swiss company , who  change the way to use a watch  after  400 years of  customs and uses history.  Another characteristic of  this early Omega was the absence of sub second  quadrants at 6, maybe because Omega use a Lepine movement and after the success of wristwatches start to develop wristwatches with sub second  quadrants at 6. ( Picture of the very first Omega wristwatch with Arabic numerals from 1902 and also without sub second quadrants at 6) Roman numerals,  porcelain dial in extremely good conditions,.

Original blue steel spade hands in extremely good conditions, without oxide and rust. Fixed lugs, the 0,935 silver solid case  was cleansed gently with only  a cloth, it has no scratches or marks, is in mint condition. Silvers cases was the second option in high prices after Gold, over Nickel and steel.

This is a historical watch, caliber 13''' L+S, Breguet blue hairspring,  this caliber was created in 1896, is the early beginning of one of the most famous and Luxury brand watches in the world, impossible to find in these conditions after 110 years, running and ticking like the first time in the beginning of 1900. My watchmaker make a complete overhaul of the watch, he change the mainspring. Cleaning, lubricate and adjusted, accuracy is impressive, this is really un unmissable opportunity to get this Omega watch, a Museum piece of history.

Omega CK 785 Foibos ( in Greek the shining one)  first issued in 1933, features what would have been at the time quite radical art deco styling in middle of a explosion of good taste and fabulous design,  not only in jewels and dresses,  also cars, furniture,  architecture and industrial design.

A true Art Deco classic, this stunning 1934 vintage Omega  is a beautifully designed and manufactured timepiece, fully stylish,  amazing trendy,  the porcelain dial is a transitional selection between hundreds years of  heritage in pocket dial watches, and the new painted dial trends.( Some version of the same reference model have painted sector dial) This nice dial has sharp, black hour markers, minute track and sub-seconds at 6:00, blue steel nice designed hour and minute  hands. All the hands are original for this model, including the blue steel  second hand.

The case design is very unique with a neatly inset crown and boxy/cubist style lugs holding the 18mm watch strap. The case measures 31mm in diameter excluding the crown,  considered a typical men's size watch back  in the 1930's. Another good example is Patek Philippe's highly sought after 30mm diameter Calatrava.

Inside the back is fully signed Acier Staybrite, Omega, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, case number 8709577, dated this case before 1935, when the Omega cases started with 9000000 upward.
Also the movement number is 7949617, corroborating this dating in 1934, over 8 million movement numbers correspond over 1935.
The aptly named Foibos was a small range manufactured in the middle  1930s that celebrated its "special" stainless steel case.

The watch is run by the Omega in house  caliber 26.5SOB, hand wind and extreme reliable engineer success.

Very nice Omega T17, rectangular Art Deco wrist watch in 100 % original conditions.

Model CK 730, Carré dial, from 1935, the dial has a nice vintage patina, blue steel hands.
This is really a very outstanding Omega, stainless steel case, measure 22 mm ( without crown)  x 34 mm, 39 mm lug to lug.

Original SS winding crown, the case has no scratches and bumps,  is in extremely good conservation.
Full mechanical service executed in January  2020. The watch winds, & sets smoothly,  keeping time accurately.

The watch come with a still new vintage leather strap and a original Swiss made Omega stainless steel buckle. ( is a original 1960'S Swiss factory buckle)

Very hard to find in original conditions, usually the crown is a replacement ( here is a 85 years old crown)  repainted dial, replacement hours and minute hands.

The reliable movement T17 from Omega is robust and good for a daily use watch, some reissued from other first Swiss brands are in rectangle shape.

Omega 1948/1949 pre Seamaster a thuggish extraordinary wristwatch.

This Omega according official database, was introducing in 1946, manufactured until 1948. Is an extremely sought-after watch… belong to a forgotten era where the products where made thinking in eternity.

Initially this watch was produced with movement 28.10 RASC, a bumper automatic movement with springs, in 1949 Omega launch the reliable and high quality 351 movement, so this is the first and last model 2445 with this movement.

Somewhere, between 1948 (when the model Seamaster went on the market) and 1949, Omega make this case and this dial, waiting for the movement and the expert manual assembly of that time.

The two shaded dial is complete factory original, in 1949 Omega start with the raised Omega logo in the dial, this one is still stamped, old shool from early 1940, like the Fab Suisse under the Brand and the word Automatic. Has some aging and marks, I make some very macro pictures to show them good, something that you or other people will not notice in the wrist.

Sword SS hands with blue steel seconds hand (like the first Seamaster and the first Constellation model), silver painted Arabic numerals, the vintage look is impressive.

The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, no rust or heavy marks, no polishing or sanding, it is an excellent work of art.

What makes this watch so special ... is a survivor, a 73-year-old and you can wear as a daily watch with impressive precision.
