Omega 1948/1949 pre Seamaster a thuggish extraordinary wristwatch.

This Omega according official database, was introducing in 1946, manufactured until 1948. Is an extremely sought-after watch… belong to a forgotten era where the products where made thinking in eternity.

Initially this watch was produced with movement 28.10 RASC, a bumper automatic movement with springs, in 1949 Omega launch the reliable and high quality 351 movement, so this is the first and last model 2445 with this movement.

Somewhere, between 1948 (when the model Seamaster went on the market) and 1949, Omega make this case and this dial, waiting for the movement and the expert manual assembly of that time.

The two shaded dial is complete factory original, in 1949 Omega start with the raised Omega logo in the dial, this one is still stamped, old shool from early 1940, like the Fab Suisse under the Brand and the word Automatic. Has some aging and marks, I make some very macro pictures to show them good, something that you or other people will not notice in the wrist.

Sword SS hands with blue steel seconds hand (like the first Seamaster and the first Constellation model), silver painted Arabic numerals, the vintage look is impressive.

The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, no rust or heavy marks, no polishing or sanding, it is an excellent work of art.

What makes this watch so special ... is a survivor, a 73-year-old and you can wear as a daily watch with impressive precision.
